  • Ride together wearing club jerseys whenever possible.
  • Greet fellow cyclists politely and in friendly fashion.
  • Make first-time riders and visitors feel particularly welcome.
  • Ride captains should welcome newcomers at ride starts.

Respect & Conduct

"Club members are expected at all times to treat other club members, other cyclists, motorists and other road users with the utmost respect."

  • Unlawful conduct or actions bringing disrepute to the club are prohibited.
  • Courteous cycling is encouraged.
  • No verbal altercations or obscene gestures toward road users.

Safety Responsibilities

  • Ride responsibly without jeopardising cyclist safety.
  • "We never leave club members with a puncture or mechanical fault alone" during official rides.
  • Follow ride captains' and marshals' instructions.
  • Stop at red lights, junctions and intersections.

Environmental & Professional Standards

  • Do not litter — no empty energy sachets, punctured tubes or chocolate wrappers left behind.
  • Wear sponsor colours and club jerseys at races.
  • Members must participate in a minimum of 6 rides in a calendar year and attend at least one club function or breakfast in a calendar year, to maintain membership.
